Had a massive oh shit moment on my way home today, realising the previous owner (builder), has covered a bunch of our eucalyptus root flares with building debris, gravel and all sorts of junk, then tried to "mulch" it…
Spring into action on the first one today.
The tree did drop two limbs last year (one in a massive storm, the other due to a crack that formed in that storm).
What's wild, a university educated Arborist, well known in the region, trimmed one of the limbs to reduce the weight, but didn't state the obvious (to me now)…
I have probably 6-7 more to go, not all this bad atleast…
