Is this the dreadful giant hogweed? I feared it might be and threw this plant straight to the dumpster to be safe..

    Worse. Might be Hemlock. Extremely toxic – can be fatal.

    Agreed this is poison hemlock. Bag it and trash it. Because people often ask: no, you cannot burn it. Which means Don’t burn it (you can die or suffer severe effects, including lung damage, and so could anyone nearby who breathes it). Also don’t compost it.

    this is 100% poison hemlock. you can tell by the hairless stems and purple blotches on the stem. Queen Anne’s lace has a fuzzy/ hairy stem. you should carefully dig it all out and dispose of it as garden in sealed bags. make sure to wear gloves when pulling!
