So I have a lovely el Choco but that thing is crazy infested with spider mites. I have tried everything. Shower, chemicals, natural stuff, alcohol, NONE OF IT IS WORKING! Please help!
Silly question but have you checked the soil and repotted it in brand new soil?

When I was growing cannabis I had a horrible infestation in my grow tent. I used a Hotshot No-Pest strip. I think it was for 10 days and it irradiated every one from 1 cannabis, 2 small lemon and a lime and a few other plants. They were sealed in a tent so you nay need to improvise with a box that you open half the day for light.

I know you said you’ve tried everything. But the reality with spider mites is that you have to keep trying everything. I was battling spider mites and I haven’t seen any evidence of them in over a month.
I’ve been diligently hosing every single plant in my house when it’s time to water. I mean THOROUGHLY. I take the hose attachment, put it on “mist” mode and I spray down the leaves, under the leaves, the soil, and under the pot. I do lose a little bit of soil each time so I recommend doing this outside. The 2 plants that had mites, I spray down multiple times. I sweep and mop regularly the areas my plants are. I wash out all decorative pots and wipe them down with alcohol. I also use Captain Jack’s Deadbug Brew spray, but you have to follow the instructions. You have to use it every 3 (or was it 4) days.

Alcohol didn’t work??
I had gnarly spider mites webbed all over my ghost.
I put it in the shower and washed it off.
Then I put 70% alcohol, a little water and a couple drops of dawn in a spray bottle and heavily blasted every part of the plant with it. Then I used an old big makeup brush to really wipe every part of it, following the grooves to get down in them. Special focus at the top of the heart shape where the stem hits. They were all over that part bad. Then I sprayed it again with the alcohol and let it dry in the dark overnight.
They seem dead. It has been a week I don’t see them on that or any other plant.

Get a systemic pesticide. It rid all of my houseplants of a major infestation. If you arent going to eat it, then a pesticide is a solid option
