I have two mushroom growers near me(40min drive) and both offer the compost for free, just load up. Don't make a mess, don't cause a fight and take what you can carry.

I pay a friend gas money only to pick it up for me since I don’t have a pickup. Fees it to my worms 🪱
Spent substrate is excellent. Fantastic amendment for orchards especially

$10 a scoop here. I topped up my raised bed this season. After the fact I read you should give it 6 months before you plant in it due to salt build up. They have to constantly mist and as the water evaporates it leaves behind whatever was in the water
