I just got the wandering jew plant!! I've never had one before but this was hanging outside in the full sun. Will this suffice for being in partial sun? It will get direct sun, just not absolutely sure what time of day. But if I need to move her, I can. I was thinking about a Shepard's hook to hang her up on. What do you think? Will she be okay here? Or do I need to rethink her home?

I wish there were more helpful answers, because I have one as well… and have questions on care.. too bad everyone has to focus on everything but the point of this post.

I have one in my bathroom, it thrives on the humidity, and although I have frosted glass it gets full sun for about 6hrs a day, it doesn’t bother it. It roots super easily btw, once it grows and gets heavy those stalks will break off easily in the wind and it will establish itself everywhere it lands. So I don’t know if you want that or not.
Edit, to add; It handles neglect quite well, I’ve never managed to overwater it but it does get thin and spindly if it’s dry for too long, that’s another time when itll snap and the offshoots will try for greener pastures lol . I’ve got a few pots around my house with the offshoots and some are in full shade, all doing fine. It’s an extremely hardy, very pretty plant.
Ours loves bright indirect lighting. We have it on a covered porch. I’d probably keep an eye on yours to make sure it’s not burning in direct sunlight.
Looks good to me…mine spend the summer hanging about like that in in my West-facing porch and they do fine. With perhaps only 2-3 hours of direct late afternoon sunlight, they maybe don’t get quite as pink as they could, but they’re really gorgeous anyway.
