Carve deeper, then paint over everything with drylok
Those are the score lines coming through from melting away the board with the heat gun. I’d say maybe back up a bit or turn the gun down a tad. It’s annoying, but I just used some great stuff, filled it and peeled out the excess by hand. Then when you paint over it should be flush.
