That is a Croton. These guys LOVE the sun.
I have mine on my bedroom windowsill, the sunniest place in my apartment.
Clean those leaves and it will look even better.
I keep mine on a west facing windowsill. Water when the leaves start to droop

These things can die from being moved too much fyi.
Mine loves to lay itself out flat if I’m like 30 minutes late to watering it. So dramatic.
It’s a beautiful demon spawn from hell! Don’t look at it wrong! Don’t walk by it too fast or too slow! Don’t breathe on it! Make sure it doesn’t get too much sun! Or not enough sun. Or too much water. Or not enough water! Obviously we have a history! 🤣🤣🤣
