My chamaedorea elegans is very droopy and the leaves are lighter in color with a lot of the tips dried out
Not sure what any of this means
I did repot it because the pot it came in broke when I was moving it
I had to add soil other than peat moss and i’m not sure if that is the issue
Also is it too close to the window??
The pot has drainage holes and I water her once a week – is this too much?
Help me I reallyyyyy don’t wanna lose her

Get something like a bamboo skewer or chopsticks or something like that. Put it in the soil, an only when the top 3in is dry should you water. Weekly watering might be too frequent. What type of water are you using? If it’s tap water it could be depositing minerals or something in the soil or on the roots. How much bright indirect light does she get?
