I forgot about this plant. As kids, I remember my mom showing us that you could pull it up by the route and if you broke the root and half crosswise, it was a pretty good design in there. Was out really Solomon seal.? I have no idea.

Solomon Seal and those are the flowers which eventually will become berries (poisonous though)
Polygonatum sp. (“Solomon’s seal” is kind of generic and people often get Maianthemum and Polygonatum species confused)
We get a lot of these in the woods around my house in western Indiana.
