My TC finally gave me its first leaf two months after I got her home! 🥰 The new leaf is a bit bigger than the older ones and has such nice variegation. I’m wondering if I should repot her into a bigger pot, but I’ve heard that Alocasia like being a little root-bound, so I’m not sure if now is a good time to repot. Thanks for any tips! 💚

***oops, just noted a picture with a corm accidentally added here, it’s from another Alocasia 😅 plz annoy it.

You mentioned bigger leaf but nothing about the roots. curious why you’re thinking about repotting then? From the pics, the roots aren’t visible to really advise on repot needs.
I have a big 9 leaf wentii aurea in 4” pot. Majority of the leaves are bigger than my hand but based on the roots, I would not upsize. Wouldnt want to risk accidentally over watering w extra substrate it doesn’t need.
    Can see others advisement
