LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Families celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend still have time to find the perfect gift — and enjoy a full weekend of fun — at Wallitsch Gardens.
The local garden center is marking 80 years in business with a free community celebration running May 8–10, featuring family-friendly activities, seasonal shopping, live music, food trucks, festive treats, and special anniversary pricing.
Events continue Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., including story time at 11 a.m., live music by Jacob Head from 1–3 p.m., and a petting zoo. The celebration wraps up Sunday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Mother’s Day complimentary mimosas and special sales.
Admission is free, and no registration is required.
