Hey all! I have artificial grass that I want to remove and build a patio. I ordered a MOT1 and dug a layer, but what I dug already looks like a MOT1. Now I feel like a fool and not sure how to proceed: or move the old sub base and waste it and replace with the new one or just fill the old base again and compact it. Right now I'm just sitting and thinking if it makes sense to replace one sub base with another as it's a lot of work, that seems unnecessary at all. But maybe the new one is a proper one for a patio?

If the turf was level and showed no signs of erosion/failure, it’s likely you can reuse this sub base. You’ll just want to verify the depth is what you need for the patio.
