Please tell me you loosed a bit the soil before adding new soil on top of it, roots could struggle to get into it, good luck!

Here in Calgary we’re being overrun with feral little bunnies. Cute they are but the ones we have will quickly chew through that plastic to get at whatever it is they find desirable. This year I’m using strong steel mesh screening. They may end up digging underneath my screen, but we shall see.

Bunnies will go under that wire mesh in 20 seconds. It would be better to extend the wire mesh along the ground outside the garden bed a good 50cm so when the bunnies are up against the fence they can’t dig under it.

If your house was built somewhere before 1978, be cautious about the soil contamination 6′ by your house

Plant a big edger of ornamental flowering clover 🙂 bunnies have a one track mind- once they hit food they wont go deeper. Good for the bees and pollinators too

Man you have some patience with those blueberries, I could not wait the three years for fruit.
