Gorgeous borage! I plant marigolds with my tomatoes for pest control. Companion planting proves nature already has the answers, we just have to listen. 🌱

Marigolds with my tomatoes and mint I grow in smaller containers next to my cucumber planters. The combo has done a great job on cutting down on pests.

i also include pot marigolds and onions to that duo, last year was the first year I didn’t do borage and the hornworms were such as issue. rectified that mistake in this years garden.

Asparagus and strawberries! Neither thrived before I put them together. Now they’re both amazing! I think strawberry likes a softer sun so the fern of asparagus is perfect. Plus the fern helps hide them from the birds.
