In Denver and seeing so many of these messages. It’s just companies that spam everyone and then sell the leads to arborists. Feels like leeches just sucking blood out of the system? But maybe I’m too grumpy and it’s fair game.

In all my years in the industry none of the companies I worked for ever had to run advertising or soliciting campaigns. If you are trustworthy your work sells itself. If a third party spamming company tried to reach out we’d happily decline. You are who you affiliate yourself with
I’ve never seen anything like this before and I worked in the denver area for 8 years. This seems crazy or some sort of scam?
I get spammed with these literally multiple times a week… I ignore them all
Would not give my address to some random texter. Likely plotting a home invasion or robbery
Assholes, I hate them, every last one.
Block and Report.
I love this economy
It’s always with the “I’m in your neighborhood, anything I can do while I’m here?”
You’re not in my neighborhood, fuck off and lose my number.
I got one recently in the Seattle area and I confusedly responded with something like “neat! I’m an arborist too!”
They did not text back.
These are the same pricks texting me from a different number 3x a week with “$97 Tree service leads in your area”
I finally got them to stop texting me by sending a rude all caps message about not being a home owner and not even living in the state and would they please stop
