Your landlord must love you, I did have a couple of rentals, and if you can imagine your finished garden, then how it started… thats what I got!! So I ended up pulling out, cleaning up, straight lawn and some self care shrubs around the edge. Basic.
You're lucky you can create some type of barrier and privacy for yourself in your yard I myself have been trying to do the small fencing area in my yard to get some privacy and I can't seem to get it because you know financially I have to wait

Train your Eden (climbing roses in general) in an S pattern or at 45 degree angles up the arch and it will have more blooms and be fuller
