Is this a normal plant or something to be concerned with?
We live in a townhome with an HOA and they seem to be doing absolutely nothing about the weeds and dandelions that are absolutely everywhere. As a result, I’m not sure what’s normal and what’s not!
It’s a native plant that can take up to 10 years to establish and a foragers delight!
To find out for sure, just pluck one off the ground and smell the root, if it smells like onions, than they are ramps 😉

They are lily of the valley ready to flower. They tend to spread quite aggressively but make lovely bouquet. Do not ingest them, as they are poisonous.

It is NOT Ramps! Please DO NOT EAT!
It is convularia majalis, lily of the valley.
Which is very toxic and should not be consumed… lovely fragrance small sprays of white intensely fragrant flowers. Very invasive in North America.

Lily of the Valley. I keep mine contained in a small patch of my garden and make one bouquet a year. Invasive as a ground cover, but very pretty in a tiny vase.

Seconding lily of the valley. Extremely toxic when eaten. All parts of the plant, but especially the berries, contain a chemical that’ll stop your heart. Spreads aggressively. Flowers smell amazing, like that classic clean laundry scent.
Fun fact: that smell was synthesized by perfumers in the early 1900s because they couldn’t extract it directly from the plant. Today, a lot of cosmetics, soap, hair products, and other stuff has that synthetic scent in it. You’ve absolutely smelled it before and probably had no idea.
