Hola, we had 2 queen of the nights blooming this morning on the plaza. We feel so lucky to have seen them. If anyone knows which specific species it is I’d love to know!
For anyone who doesn’t know “Queen of the night”, these are flowers that only bloom 1 night each year. These plants are able to produce more flowers, but many individual plants in a region often bloom on the exact same night.
They have a very intense fragrance, together with their colors this one night they will attract a lot of pollinators, mainly moths and bats.
