They are so pretty in bloom. One of my most beautiful memories involved climbing to the top of hill that my grandparent’s house was on in WV. At the top were a lot of large rock formations and dogwoods in bloom everywhere. That was almost 40 years ago but as far as I know that area remains untoiched; I hope it’s still like I remember it.
I don’t know if there are many dogwoods that do well in eastern NC, I’d be interested in getting one.
