I’m happy to report that almost 2 mos to the day this newbie planted these, 7 out of the 10 have sprouted babies! I was worried about the condition of the leaves when they first arrived in the mail as they were rather limp and tired looking. One of you kind folks suggested cutting off some rot on one of the leaves and it’s done great! Fortunately they all have survived and are doing well. I still have them under a dome with a couple of the vents open halfway in order to have some airflow. I’m being patient with the 3 that haven’t shown growth as their stems are firm and leaves look to be ok so far. As for the growers, now if I could manage to not over water, etc., there is hope! A couple of questions I have is at what point do I need to move to a larger pot? Currently they are in 2” pots and I’m perfectly fine to leave them as long as possible so as not to do them harm unnecessarily. My second question is when should I give them some weak fertilizer? Their soil is 50/50 mix Miracle Gro AV soil and perlite. I know there’s a touch of fertilizer in the Miracle Gro but if it’s beneficial to fertilize them as they’ve started to grow, I am happy to do so. Happy to wait if that is best too! The second photo is the Jack’s AV 12-36-14 fertilizer that I have and dilution suggestions are welcome. I also have Schultz AV plant food if that is a better option than the Jack’s.

No, you don’t need to more them to larger pot. Let them grow out until you are ready to separate them and you can pot them up in the same pots if you like. I find that when they are small and I give them fertilizer, there is always fertilizer build up/ orange crystals on the leaves. There is probably already fertilizer in the Miracle Gro potting mix. Maybe when you separate them or when they are bigger then you can give it fertilizer.
