Gift to neighbors and lots of egg salad is what I do

  2. PigVicious1

Bake with them? Or share with friends?

Are eggs able to be frozen? Or maybe egg heavy recipes like frittata, egg nog, egg salad etc ….

I sell mine at work for $5 a dozen. Setup a QR code in the fridge so it’s hands off for me. The extra eggs pay for my feed.

Cook ‘em and feed ‘em back to them

Frittata. Great way to use none of ten eggs and get rid of other random stuff in the fridge.

Ok for a totally different take than the regulars I have two: make your own granola, if you like chunks then use whole eggs whipped then oats etc mixed in and baked. If you don’t like chunks then use only whites. And two: mayonnaise! It’s soooooo good made with fresh tasty eggs and you can add herbs, jalapeños or garlic to it depending on what you like.

I’ve been making little egg muffins and freezing them.

Lemon bars! Just made sallys baking addiction tipn recipe it used 6 eggs

  10. You can sell them. I have a number of friends at church who have asked me for eggs.

As far as the winter egg drought goes, they keep just fine in the refrigerator. Long ago, Mother Earth News did a test of a variety of methods. Water glassing was the best non-refrigerated method, but just putting them in a container in the refrigerator worked, too–if you have the room.

Spanish tortilla (with potato), flan, lemon meringue, bread pudding (sweet or savory), French vanilla ice cream, deviled eggs.

Or go on marketplace and see what your neighbors will trade you.

You can make egg bites and freeze them.

    Blend until smooth
    7 eggs
    3/4 c cottage cheese
    1/2ts baking powder
    S&P

    Pour into muffin cups
    You could add
    Add grated cheese
    Bacon
    Sausage
    Spinach
    Onion
    Cream cheese
    Goat cheese
    Ham
    Whatever

Cook for 18 to 20 minutes at 350degrees

At this point, friends. 😅 We can’t eat that many and people love being gifted eggs.

  16. aroundincircles

We give them to my parents and sibling’s family who do not have chickens, and we give them away at church.

  17. BluehairedGinger

Dutch Baby. Uses 6 eggs at a time. A staple at my house!

  18. Runningmanwalks

You really shouldn’t be putting them all in one basket though (sorry)

  19. Efficient_Basis_2139

Deutch Pancakes and plenty of Omelettes!

  20. Creepy_Structure199

If you have dogs or cats it’s a great thing to add to their meal.

We started keeping a jar of Asian marinade that we soak boiled eggs in. We change up the flavors sometimes. After two to three days they are great. Think of ramen eggs but any flavor.

I always have pickled eggs on hand and I share with my MIL. Also, cottage cheese egg bites freeze really well and we love them for snacks/breakfast.

Scramble and dehydrate them. They can then be used to supplement pretty much any stew.

  24. blanddrivel

Crack Mix and then dehydrate them. Take the bricks of egg run it through a blender. Store with an oxygen tab. Now you have powdered eggs, that will last at least 2 years. Do not mix with milk is that cuts a life down to about 3 months.

  25. FroznAlskn

Looks like it’s time for a lot of deviled eggs.

  26. Ruckus292

Pasta, gnocci, devil ’em, bake cookies or cakes, sell extras.

I’ll soft to medium boil them, then stick them in a jar with soy sauce, mirin or rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and sriracha for 24+ hours. They are SO good. Two of us usually go through 10 of those in 3ish days.

My goal is to freeze dry eggs for longer storage. Until then, I freeze them scrambled in quantities of 2, 3, and 6 to use primarily in baking.
