Still have to wait 9 days to plant outside.

From left to right 3 of each – sweet paprika Thor, long cayenne chili, banana, sun gold cherry tomato.

I can’t help it either, however, last spring, we didn’t have a late frost and it paid off!

Every year I’m afraid I started too late and every year my plants are too big when it’s time to plant them out. I’ve learned a lot over the years, but this lesson is the most elusive.

Do many of us do the same and every year? Yes.

This is when I often plant half of them early and see what happens. It’s a risky move, though

Do you have a short growing season in your part of Norway? I have a Norwegian friend who gardens outdoors in Aalesund on the west coast and he sent me a snapshot of light snow falling just a few days ago.
