These citrus trees were a great surprise today! I can’t wait for all of the future harvests they will bring to my backyard garden

  1. Key limes are extremely sensitive to cold, more than the others so be careful. Use Espoma citrus tone fertilizer 3 times a year- Jan, May and Oct. and add compost around the tree. You can mulch the bottom to retain water but not near the trunk. After they finish fruiting, prune out dead branches and ones that are growing towards the center.

  2. Will the trees be moved to a bigger pot as they grow bigger or will be in that pot for thier entire lifespan? A bit curious
