Hello, my girlfriend had gifted me this moss terrarium for Christmas, it was alright but then there started to emerge some gnats and I had to spray it and dry it (after overwatering, sorry this is my first ever terrarium). Now the gnats are gone but this brown patch is not going away. The soil and moss is not dry and Im trying to water it bit by bit with filtered water (not from tap). I also try to vent it every day for 1 or 2 hours in shadow.

How can I help this moss to grow and be green again? Also how can I support the growing little plants? Thank you in advance!! Sorry for bad english

Your English is perfectly fine….do you have a lid for this? A lid might help, although I have had 0 success with keeping moss alive long term (i got all mine from out front my house, mainly from the driveway) though. IDK what those lil plants are in there but they should have a much easier time surviving than the moss.

If you have a lid, you can basically never water this. I have 2 jars with lids, I add water every like 3 months because the lids aren’t super tight
