A win there pits the Kauai Red Raiders against the Division II top seed, Kalaheo High School on May 14 at Pearl City High School.

Waimea, the Central Pacific Bank Kauai Interscholastic Federation champions, earned the Division II No. 3 seed for the tournament and gets a bye on Wednesday, facing the winner of the Kapolei and Kailua high schools Wednesday match.

Mayor Derek S.K. Divina Plowman, the Student Activities coordinator at Kauai High School, said the tri-high talent show, Kauai’s Rising Stars, takes place today, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. Tickets are available at the door. A craft show takes place starting at 4 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m.
