Early sign of root rot?


the sheath is going yellow and brown on only on a middle leaf, while the older leaves are doing fine…. is this because it sent out a root from that node/starting to mature or is it an early sign of root rot? the root you see in the image is 4 days old and the sheath started yellowing then, but im still worried. does anyone know

    Plants do what they do, in whatever order. When it browns, i pull it off. Its not root rot or anything like that. Can’t tell you why, but I can tell you its normal. They’re crazy and do some things out of order, like us lol

    That happens to every sheath that leaves come out on deliciosas. You can leave em there or pull em off. Doesn’t affect the plant

    Totally normal, pull the sheet off once it’s completely brown and dry
