I read some where plutonium does that..

Clumping tall fescue. I ripped mine out with no problem but ripping it out can cause it to spread more. Best to nuke it with glyphosate.

Only way to determine if it’s weed is to smoke it.

I wish my tall fescue would randomly come in that healthy without me trying… For me, the fescue is always fighting off invasion by bermuda.

Looks like a shitty tall fescue cultivar

This is clumping fescue. Best thing to do is glyphosate and digging it up. No selective herbicide for this

Just for all the people out here calling it clumping tall fescue. All tall fescue is a clumping grass. There is a selective Tall Fescue control but it is only available to professionals. The only other option is a non selective control product that will kill everything.

It’s quiet hard to tell, but crabgrass usually spreads low and wide. Could also be overseeded grass filling in unevenly after fall seeding.

Just curious, what kind of grass is your lawn and what do you over seed with

probably clumping fescue. maybe not. easy fix? just grab the whole thang and yank it out.

  13. Weedy grass. Just hit each clump with a little shot of round up easiest quickest way.

Rough or clumping fescue, its the same thing.

Dig it out and add fresh seed.

I have this all over my yard right now that’s still quite yellow from the winter and these mf’ers are greener than green and grow so fast. I’ve been debating digging them out or trying glyphosate like some have recommended.
