Johanna – My Nonna Fina
When Maddie began sharing videos of her beloved Aussie-Italian grandmother, Delfina, AKA Nonna Fina, online, she never expected the internet to fall head over heels with her. But now with over a million devoted fans, Nonna Fina has become everyone’s adopted Nonna and Maddie regularly posts videos sharing her Nonna’s recipes, kitchen hacks and their hilarious chats. The twist? Delfina wasn’t even aware of her fame until she was recognised at the local shops. This week, Johanna’s meeting Nonna Fina and Maddie to cook up a storm and to uncover what makes this Nonna such a viral sensation.

Colin – Poussin With Greek Salad
If you’re out to impress this Mother’s Day, then give all the mums in your household a well-earned break from the kitchen…and Colin’s sharing a recipe that’ll help you do just that. He’s making grilled poussin, or young chickens, and although it sounds fancy, it’s surprisingly easy to make. Marinated in Greek yoghurt, lemon, rosemary and thyme, then cooked on the barbie, the chicken turns out zesty, juicy and full of flavour. Served with a fresh Greek-style salad of fetta, cucumber and tomato, it’s an impressive meal that’s perfect for Mother’s Day.

Graham – Gardens That Tell A Story
The best gardens don’t just look great, they tell a story about the designer and location, too. So, this week, Graham’s exploring how some of his favourite gardens from this year’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show do just that. Find out how these gardens have been thoughtfully designed to weave a narrative that’s as rich as the gardens are beautiful.

Juliet – Kitchen Roll To Floral Décor
We’ve all got cardboard kitchen and toilet rolls hanging around…but don’t put them straight in the recycling bin, because they’ve got life in them yet! Juliet’s showing you how to cut, fold and glue them together to create a sculptural bowl for your coffee table. It’s the perfect craft for kids to make for mum this Mother’s Day and the finished result will look fabulous on display for years to come.

Adam – Changeable Frame
As a parent, who doesn’t love the constant flow of pictures your kids produce? But if you’d like to save your walls from all that blue-tac, Adam has a great idea to help you display your kids’ works of art in a way that allows you to easily change the picture without all the fuss. Using off-the-shelf materials, it’s cheap to make, affordable and makes a great Mother’s Day present.

Charlie – Weekend Job: The Side Path
If you’re lucky enough to have a side path, chances are it’s one of the most neglected areas of your garden…but an ugly side path can really let the look of your entire home down. So, this week, Charlie’s showing you how to tackle it. He’s transforming a neglected side path with drainage issues, plus spots of bright sun and shade to contend with, into a stylish pathway, without spending a lot of money. If you’ve got an overgrown side path…this is a must-watch.

Dr Harry Max The Car No-Go Groodle
Max the five-year-old groodle used to love going for car rides…but these days, not so much. Over the past year, he’s started to flat-out refuse to get in the car and no amount of treats, encouragement, or even a dog ramp will help. And as Max weighs around 40 kilos, it’s a struggle for his owner, Nerida, to lift him into the car herself. So, what exactly has changed? And can Max learn to love the car again? Dr Harry is finding out.

Adam – The Fabulous Fix-It Sisters
Tucked away in the suburbs of Sydney, there’s a place where creativity, community and a whole lot of girl power come together. The Fix-It Sisters Shed is an incredible volunteer-run group which works with the local community to inspire and mentor women of all ages, helping them to build practical DIY skills and creative confidence. Together, the Fix-It Sisters have done everything from building habitat boxes for local wildlife, to giving everyday materials a second life. Adam’s stopping by the shed to see the sisters in action.

Melissa – From Fixer Upper To Best In Town
Brenton Roberts may just be South Australia’s most famous home gardener. When he shared the transformation of his ramshackle Adelaide Hills property into a stunning two-hectare plant paradise, it went viral, earning him a 105,000-strong following on Instagram and the award for Adelaide’s 2023 Garden of the Year…and it’s easy to see why. Brenton’s garden is full of character and creativity, blending sculptural topiary with a diverse selection of plants, and lots of recycled materials that have been reused in imaginative ways. Melissa’s meeting Brenton for a tour of his stunning garden, which has truly taken the world by storm.

Juliet – Textured Plaster & Paint Artwork
Joint compound isn’t just for fixing walls…did you know you can use it to create gorgeous abstract art, too? Juliet’s showing you how to use simple materials from the hardware store to create a gorgeous piece of textured art. It couldn’t be simpler and the finished result looks really high-end.

Clarissa – Mum’s Singapore Noodles
Singapore noodles are a take-away favourite for a reason and, tonight, Clarissa’s showing you how to recreate this classic dish at home. Clarissa’s using her mum’s recipe, which was one of her favourite dishes as a child, and it’s definitely stood the test of time. With pork fillet soaked in a yummy marinade, plus shitake mushrooms, prawns and eggs, this version is so much better for you than the restaurant version and it tastes yummier, too.
