B&M shoppers looking for an ‘illuminating’ statue could be impressed by the retailer’s latest piece

Discount retailer B&M has expanded its outdoor living range with a new garden ornament that could be a hit with shoppers looking to refresh their outdoor spaces on a budget.
The retailer is now selling the Standing Buddha with Solar Light for £14. Designed to bring a calming atmosphere to gardens and patios, the ornament closely resembles pricier alternatives currently available elsewhere.
According to the product description on the B&M website: “Transform your garden into a tranquil, relaxing space. This Standing Buddha Statue with Solar Light is the perfect way to bring peace and serenity to your outdoor space, while illuminating your garden with soft solar light.”
The statue features a stone-effect Buddha holding a solar-powered light against his chest. It’s also compact, measuring 50cm tall and 15cm wide, making it easy to position in smaller outdoor areas as well as larger gardens.

While the B&Q statue shares a similar stone-coloured appearance and compact design, it differs in style, featuring a Buddha figure holding two LED solar-powered flames.
A spokesperson for B&Q said: “Add a serene touch to your home or garden with this Lotus Buddha Statue. Solar powered with LED lighting, it illuminates your yard, patio, or yoga space while enhancing the peaceful ambiance. Durable and weather-resistant, it’s ideal for indoor or outdoor décor.”
