I have had this for a couple of years but last year the central stem with newest leaves broke off and the 3 remaining leaves are right at the base.
I want to try it in semi hydro and the roots are really good…my main question is how far down do I pot it as I have no idea where a new leaf can emerge from

Hi! Pot where roots begin, but do not cover any leaf stems. Lowest, oldest leaf can sit ~ 1-3 cm above soil surface. Leaves on philodendrons will emerge from the petiole, which is like the trailblazer of the stem. Petiole will continue to grow upwards like a crown/dome, or climb and produce aerial roots as well as leaves at each node if you put it on a support. Hope this helps!
