I’ve had my monstera for several years and it’s one of my favorite plants. I’ve never had any issues with yellowing of the leaves until the past 4-6 months. Gradually I’ve been seeing small areas of yellow spots and necrosis form, only on some of the bottom leaves that are closest to the window. My assumption was cold drafts, because we moved to a new house in September before winter cold hit. I also occasionally spray and wipe down with a diluted Neem oil mix. I have checked for pests but have never seen anything on the leaves.
What happened to him??? this makes me so sad. He just popped out a new leaf which makes me think he’s overall doing okay and it may be some cold damage?

At first glance it looks like thrips damage to me, but I would expect larve crawling around. Did you wipe the leaf before taking the picture?

Thrip larvae are very small. When I had them I had to like stare at the leaf for 5-10 seconds just to sense movement. I agree with others it looks like Thrips. Look for little white worms for larvae. the adults are flies and hard to see too.

Looks like thrips. Wipe the leaves a couple times a week with natural oil or neem oil. You can put some of the neem oil in the soil too.

They can be finicky at times. I have the same issues. First, Check the watering. This can happen when it’s too wet at the bottom of the pot. I use a long wooden stick and push it all the way to the bottom of the pot. Pull it out and check it later yo dee if it’s wet. If so, hold off watering. If it’s dry, the water it. If none of the above are issues, is it root bound and is it getting enough light. I hope this helps you🪴. Happy gardening 🧚🏽‍♂️
