I posted a little over a year ago about my tree of heaven that was planted uncomfortably close to the house I bought. I did hack and squirt with concentrated glyphosate and it didn't leaf out this year so I had it cut down today. Glyphosate straight into the stumps. I will likely be fighting babies for a few years but a small price to pay.

Idk how well the cuts on the stumps will work. If they come back, try drilling holes instead. That’s what I did on a massive cherry laurel stump in my backyard.
It’s best to hit the cambium, and phloem. Spray it all the way down to the dirt, and any exposed roots.
Nice grill marks! Lol
Congratulations and good luck
Beginning of the start. Need to kill em before cutting them
Doesn’t glyphosate only work via foliar uptake?
You did yourself a favor. The neighbor next door has a massive infestation and pays annually to have the tree growth cut. Those things are a scourge and I dread the day the roots show up on our side of the fence.
