Our attempt at alternative lawn, clover left uncut. Other plants kept if they self seed. Planted bulbs in autumn, snow drops and hyacinths never came up but the tulip and crocus did. I did read that bulbs struggle to come through the clover and was unfortunately the case. Looking forward to the clover flowering although I'll have to see how practical it is for my 1 year old with the bees around as he plays in the garden a lot.

What clover did you use ? regular one or microclover ?
