This damage on one of my black raspberry plants showed up overnight. Most of the leaves are gone starting a few inches above ground. I treated with neem oil just a few days ago. None of the other 15 plants in the row show any signs (yet?). Can anyone identify the potential culprit? Thanks!

Looks like animals munching. Deer or rabbit if I had to guess. They like fresh leaves. You could put a cage over it till it bushes out more, but it should be fine as is.
I would say this is rabbits over deer. Rabbits love to eat my unprotected raspberries. Neem oil will not make a difference. They need a physical barrier if you want to avoid this.
