I chopped my 5 yr old 14’ tall fiddle hoping to stimulate more branching on top and hopefully grow the trunk thicker as well. It was nerve racking. But one month later I can happily report 3 new growths up top and all 8 of the propagated branches are growing roots, even the super woody ones! I’m turning the plant hoping to get some additional branches up top so it will grow more evenly. Fingers crossed!
