I live in zone 10B and pictured are two heirloom plants. They’re growing strong and fruiting but can’t help notice the leaves are curling. Some of them have discolored as well. I’ve laid off on the watering because my first reaction was over watering. But now I’m not so sure. Would love your thoughts!

Are you fertilizing with anything? My initial thought is a slight nitrogen deficiency. I’d also wait to water until it’s fully dry at least an inch down. Overwatering is definitely a thing with tomatoes.

Can anyone comment on the discoloration specifically? I have similar coloring on some of my older seedlings but it’s less severe.

Overwatering and underwatering can have the similar symptoms. Ultimately they hurt the plant’s ability to uptake water and nutrients. Best just test the soil with your fingers and see how moist they are. Another possibility is temperature, leaves curl to reduce evaporation, since you are in 10b it could be the result of high temperature.

That looks like the MiracleGro wilt. What brand of soil did you use?
