It smells divine and keeps as cut flowers too.

Mine is a Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus'.

    Love them; one of my favourite shrubs. I have a dwarf one in a pot; only problem is it’s very susceptible to blackfly.

    It’s on my list to replace badly spaced and not very good looking/boring field maples and turn it into a flowering hedge. The Aureus type looks so darn pretty! I’m thinking of planting it alongside a Black Lace elder for contrast.
