Planted in the fall in Charlotte NC. Half are these nice whole bulbs and the other half are these individual cloves. Planted in same bed. They all seem healthy. Nothing is rotten. Still good to store once cured over the next few weeks?

Nice! I’m in Ohio and trying to be patient about pulling up my garlic. Can barely wait but it’s not quite there yet. It’s amazing how much better homegrown garlic tastes compared to the store bought stuff!

The bulbs that broke up into individual cloves are the result of a growth disorder called “witch’s broom.” They will not store. But they are safe to eat.

Unfortunately, all of my garlic did that this year.
