Hey all,
Im looking for recommendations on how to make our mango tree healthy.
It looks like it has an infection of some sort, as you can see by the leaves. In fruiting season it bloomed, most of the buds turned black and the flowers fell off or mangos fell off whilst they were really small. We didnt even get 1 large mango.
It is a really large tree so we aren't sure how to go about treating it. I have pruned some dead branches and ones that looked unhealthy. Im wondering if there is a hose on treatment we can give it or something due to its size.
Would love to have some edible mangos this year!

Oh no. It looks beautiful!!
Well the problem would be mango anthracnose or similar fungal disease. Would require spraying the whole tree regularly and burning or binning ALL the leaf litter and branches that are trimmed or fall off. Very hard to manage in a large tree without using systemic fungicides, which are not great for something you want to be eating.
Hard prune, Bordeaux mix. Fertilise regularly, keep soil to drip line moist.
