It’s a pretty balloon flower. The real question here, though, is why it was going into your office. What did it want?

Balloon flower. They seem to come in that pretty blue-violet and white, and ours are light pink. They bloom for a couple of weeks, I think. They are perennials, and grow back once established, but can be a little hard to get to started. We lost a couple. Maybe the deer ruined them, I forget.

Balloon Flower-Platycodon. They’re fantastic, sturdy perennials that bloom later in the season when everything else is kinda drab. Love them, mine have multiplied like crazy and I still tend to buy another one or two every spring to fill in bare spots.
