If it said Solidago gigantea it was right for once.
This looks like my goldenrod I have growing.
Looks kind of like phlox paniculata to me.
My vote is Symphyotrichum lanceolatum (panicled aster). I have a ton of it growing. Excellent native. Pollinator magnet. Can be very weedy so I give it only a couple of spots to grow. Will spread through rhizomes and prolific seeding.
