I've had this fiddle leaf for maybe 2-3 years. It's grown taller but the leaves seem small compared to the lovely ones I see on Reddit. I don't have any direct light windows I can put it in front, this is the brightest window in my house. I'm not sure if the indirect light is the issue…

Could it be anything else? Am I just out of luck if it's a lighting issue?

I would start pinching off any new buds at the top to encourage it to branch, and if that window is the only window you can put it in, lose the sheer curtain–they diffuse a lot of light. Or get it a very good grow light. It also doesn’t look like you have a wide drainage tray that would allow you to water a LOT when it needs water, enough so that the tray fills when you do, and then let the top 3rd of the soil dry before watering again. And f you haven’t fed it this spring, now’s the time! Good luck!
