Hello everyone, I just joined the garden. Picked these up from the big box store and I'm curious about the nepenthes. I've been told I should expect Ventrata but after research this looks a lot like a St Gala? Any clarification or tips help. I think the Sarracenia is Purpurea.

Don’t expect anything. There are half a dozen Nepenthed that are common in big box stores.
Your Nepenthes is a “St. Gaya”. Your Sarracenia is most likely purpurea ssp. venosa, as that is the most common purpurea in cultivation at big box stores.
You got it! Both correct. Those are very general labels.
