Can someone help me figure out why my tomato is tipping over? It’s my first year starting from seed. These are all about 2.5 weeks old. The top of the pots to the light is like 3.5-4inches away and directly above the plants. I am using a fan on them through out the day and I change which side the fan is blowing from. Does it just need a support?

Could bury the stem a bit more, removing seed leaves and going up to the first branch, in a taller cup. Guessing they can go outside on nice days soon for a little while? The plant will probably grow more upright with the extra soil.

They look fine. Have you fed with diluted fertilizer at all?

the plants shouldn’t need support at this age / stage

could it be a bit thirsty? does this plant perk up after watering?

i’ve got about a dozen starts going right now, all different varieties, and i notice that two of my plants consistently flop over dramatically if they start to get even a teensy bit dry. they stand up straight again with a little extra water

that container for your floppy one looks a little smaller than the others around it. it might dry out a little faster with the smaller soil volume

also it could just be the light but the green is looking a tad pale. are these guys being fed yet?
