One of the easiest to grow and versatile of the allium family.

Chives. When my parents moved, I dug a bunch of flowers out of their yard and one of these was chives. I didn’t know it at the time because I never seen chives flower

I am SO jealous. They’re huge and thick (pause). That means they’ve been growing for a bit.

Absolutely! And they will multiply! I have a ton in my vegetable garden and started adding it to my flower beds as well 😜

Yes! And like others have said, they’re edible! I used to be a fine dining chef and we would pay through our noses for these. Pull them apart and sprinkle them on salads or fish dishes. Enjoy 😊

These are chives and their flowers. You can eat them as well as the chives.

my mom used to pick the flowers and make pink chive vinegar with them

There is nothing you can do to kill them. We have a container on the front step that gets alternatively flooded and dried to desert conditions. Totally neglected. Returns every year.
