Have this in our front flower beds, and it has spread like crazy. The roots go very deep and spread all throughout the bed.

Looks like lilly of the valley. If you dig it out then make sure you dig deep as it usually has roots all over the place. Glyphosate will do the job but usually causes collateral damage to other plants.

Forgot to put the location. We’re in Northeast USA

    C’est bien du muguet
    Dommage de les supprimer.
Ce sont des racines ( en fait des tiges souterraines en botanique)traçantes.
Conseil : pas de produit, au pire simple arrachage, ça fonctionnera.

Lily of the valley. Best way is to manually remove it even if it is tedious and labor intense. Dig down to about 1 foot and remove carefully every piece of roots. Check every few months and keep removing every new sprouts (dig out the soil in the spot and remove roots). Alternatively you can cover the area with cardboard for 1-2 years. Faster way is using glyphosate but the beds will be unusable for everything else for a while

They are so pretty… Why would you want to remove them 🙁
