My philodendron rojo congo took an abnormally long time to push out this newest leaf and it’s far smaller than the previous ones, wondering if this means it might be time to repot. It’s been in this pot for about a year now. I have not inspected the root ball yet cause it will probably cause some minor root damage and make a mess if I try. But I do see a root popping out one of the drainage holes.
It gets fed diluted superthrive foliage pro every watering

AFAIK philos are arboreal plants. They need something to grow ON, moss pole, stick, tree, wall, wood.
