My first orchid mount 🩷

This Tolumnia was getting a little too dried out bare root, so I thought I’d try my hand at mounting. I bought this aquarium wood off Etsy and used the least bit of rehydrated sphagnum moss possible, and some cotton thread. The wood has many nooks and crannies for the roots to settle into, and there’s a spot underneath where you can see through the roots to the crown of the plant, so there is plenty of airflow. When I checked it this morning, it was very dry. I think it will work well!
