It doesn’t need to be in a self watering pot unless you want it to be low maintenance.
self-watering pot sucks
Self watering pot is not needed. Just make sure it has drainage and monitor the soil moisture so you know when to water.

I got the same plant…same pot…and I’m down to 3 leafs. Gonna take it out cause it cost too much for it t die.
I just ordered one for my friend for her engagement gift and I’m praying hers arrives as beautiful as yours!
About 6 months ago, I repotted 90% of my plants into Lechuza Pon and self-watering pots, and I’ve been seeing some really wonderful results!

If you’re going to keep it in there I suggest a super chunky aroid mix. That pot plus soil equals a drowned plant
