Here's my ficus ginseng. I bought it (nine euros, ninety new) two weeks ago and repotted it immediately after purchase in 100% akadama. I first loosened about 60% of the original potting mix with a chopstick, which helps to untangle the roots. Its saucer is emptied every time I water it. It's in the brightest spot in the living room, and when it gets down to 15°C at night, I'll move it out onto the terrace. It's starting to sprout new shoots.
